Love-hate relationship. I never seem to learn from my past mistakes. Love the food, country store, etc., but this location is inconsistent at best in service. 2 out of 3 times we've left disappointed and wishing we hadn't put ourselves through it. For example, we our ourselves on the waitlist app and it's saying 5 minutes. Arrived and it was about half full in the restaurant, clearly no large lines or wait time. The hostess confirmed. 30 minutes later, people we saw come in long after us are being seated and the lines are out the door. We ask, snd its "oh, sorry" and totally confused looks. This has happened multiple times.
Service in the restaurant is hit or miss, too. Twice we've been seated, ordered, watched others be seated, served and leave. We were told our food was on the way. Once we just walked out after 30 minutes.
Occasionally. rarely, the stars align and it's good from start to finish. But not enough for us to come often.
Like I said, I don't learn from my mistakes! Save yourself the headache. -

This location is always crowded, but they're usually pretty quick at getting people in. That's where the good usually ends.
The food was cold, like... all of it - pancakes, eggs, bacon. The scrambled eggs were flat and sad like a forgotten omelette. I'm assuming the reason why is that they have the a/c cranked to "preserve the dead bodies" cold in October.
Shrewsbury used to be closest location for us and we started coming here, but I think next time will be a hard pass. -

Excellent food and cute store that does sell MD souvenirs.
This is the 5th time we've been and the 4th time either service, food or timing was an issue.
Issue with with timing this time. Was told a 10 min wait. It was 20 min. That's ok.
Ordered food. Took 25 min to get food. Lonnnng time when it's a busy morning. Requested a coffee refill. Never got it. Asked two more times. 20 min later and we got our refill as we were leaving. Requested cups to go so we didn't waste the already poured coffee. Server never came back.
We apparently don't learn and keep coming back. This is the last time. We've been to Cracker Barrel's in CA and AZ and never ever had issues.
This location is very poorly managed. -

I had no idea we had a Cracker Barrel so close to home! You better believe when I stumbled on this baby I grabbed up my GF and made it my business to check it out. I had one of those big breakfasts(name escapes me, that's why I wish I would've done this on the day that I went), that came with EVERYTHING - literally. Grits, Country Ham, Sausage, cooked Apples, Pancakes, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, and everything was good, although if I could nitpick two things, our food came out lukewarm, and the wait to be seated was astronomical.
Those things aside, I'm happy I found this Cracker Barrel. It's so close to home that I this strange suspicion that I will be frequenting it more than I should. -

Huge disappointment! Placed an order for carry out online and my husband drove 15-20 minutes out of the way to pick it up. We ordered two meals, a kids meal, additional side of fried apples, a gallon of ice tea, and extra condiments (jelly, extra napkins, butter). Ordering online was a breeze.
My husband brings the food home. Tell me why they think putting the gallon ice tea in a USED CONTAINER?!?!!!??!!!!! See the photo I took... I am completely baffled by this. If you sell gallon sweet tea, why don't you already have teas in containers with Cracker Barrel sticker. Not a scratched off label with a expiration date of Jan 2019.... this is May!! the photo below is how we got the tea
On to the next issue. I ordered a meal that comes with three sides. I ordered turnip greens, mashed potato with brown gravy, and friend okra. My mashed potatoes are not with brown gravy but rather some other gravy and my friend okra is missing. I get a crushed corn muffin with a biscuit. Only thing decent is the biscuit. Oh and we completely didn't get any of the condiments we requested online. Not one of the items we requested.
My last complaint is when we called the restaurant to let them know about the missing items and if we could just be reimbursed for the one extra side, we were placed on hold for 15 minutes then only to be told that they don't know how to refund because we placed the order online. WTF?! Then this person (manager) said they will have to find out and "call us back" ---well it's been 2 hours and no phone call.
Based upon these Yelp reviews and their lack of response, I am going to assume they don't care anyway.
What a huge disappointment!!!!
